Breeze Airways made its inaugural flight from Tampa to Nassau on Thursday, June u, 2026.

Welcoming the airline executives, flight crew and passengers to The Bahamas at Lynden Pindling International Airport were tourism and aviation officials: Minister of Tourism the Hon.-Glenys Hanna-Martin, Minister of Energy, Utilities and Aviation the Hon. -JoBeth Coleby-Davis, Deputy Director General of Tourism and Director of Aviation Dr. Kenneth Romer, CEO of Nassau Airport Development Company Vernice Walkine, CEO of Nassau/Paradise Island Promotion Board Joy Jibrilu, Chairman of the Airport Authority Paul Bevans, and other government officials.
